Steve O’Connor brings a wealth of relevant experience to his role as owner of Suncatcher Security. Several years ago, while living in their native UK, Steve and his wife were subjected to an armed robbery in their home. This traumatic event led them to reassess their priorities and confirm what’s truly important in life – the safety of loved ones.

Steve and Clare, who is a nurse, together with their two boys, later decided to relocate to Australia for our amazing outdoor lifestyle. Steve now dedicates himself to helping others feel safe and secure, focusing his expertise on the home and business security sector. He set up Suncatcher Security to genuinely assist people in feeling safe in their living and work environments. 

Hardworking and thorough, Steve delivers excellent customer service, taking the time to understand exactly what each client requires. He holds Master Security Licenses in NSW and Queensland, is police checked, and SLED (Security License Enforcement Division) approved to consult and install security systems.

As a former licensed builder in the UK, Steve understands both technology and the practical elements of installation in relation to the structure of a building. His background gives him the valuable knowledge to guide clients in tailoring security solutions to match their specific needs.
